Parish Elections

On the 6 May this year you will have the chance to elect a new Parish Council. Elections take place every four years, (although last years elections were deferred due to the Coronavirus) and is an opportunity to not only elect people from you local community to run parish council services, but also to consider getting involved yourself. There are some basic criteria that have to be met but most importantly is the passion and commitment to get involved and to help the community of Hamble.

More information will be published as we get nearer to the elections but the following gives a good overview if you are interested: P and C – Overview – NDS (electoralcommission.org.uk). Alternatively contact me if you would like further advice or a chat about the role.

Lastly if you haven’t registered to vote now would be the time to do that by contacting Eastleigh Borough Council on 023 80 688000.
