Help Shape the Future of Electric Vehicle Charging in Hampshire

Residents across Hampshire are being invited to help decide where new electric vehicle (EV) charging points should be installed as part of a major county-wide rollout.

Hampshire County Council is planning to install around 17,000 on-street EV chargers in neighbourhoods across the county, making it easier for people without a private driveway or garage to charge an electric vehicle closer to home. The first installations are expected to begin later this year, with around 500 chargers planned during the initial phase from this autumn. The programme is being delivered through government funding and private investment, with no additional cost to Hampshire County Council.

Residents are encouraged to suggest locations where they believe charging points would be most beneficial. Local knowledge will help identify areas where improved charging infrastructure could make the biggest difference to communities.
