Children’s Posters Promote Smokefree Parks in Hamble

New posters designed by local school children have been installed at the park in Hamble as part of Eastleigh Borough Council’s Smokefree Parks initiative.

Primary school pupils from across the borough were invited to create eye-catching posters encouraging people not to smoke or vape around parks and children’s play areas. The winning designs are now being displayed in local parks to help create cleaner, healthier and more enjoyable spaces for children and families.

The wider project is being delivered with funding from Hampshire County Council and also aims to connect residents who would like help to stop smoking with Smokefree Hampshire.

Please look out for the children’s posters when visiting the park and help us keep Hamble’s play spaces smokefree.
