Policing Eastleigh – Partnership Update, July 2021
The latest Policing Eastleigh update has been published, with a focus on the support offered to people experiencing domestic abuse. Inspector Hubble (who covers the southern part of the Hedge End neighbourhood team) sets out the role of Domestic Abuse Champions who are tasked with educating peers in understanding the dynamics of domestic abuse, the reality of domestic abuse, and how to respond effectively.
Hamble Parish Councillor Craig Palmer is also featured in the update, discussing his involvement with Eastleigh’s Independent Advisory Group and how the IAG can help to foster trust between the community and local police team.
