Casual Vacancy for a Parish Councillor, Parish of Hamble le Rice

There is a vacancy on the above Council caused by the resignation of Sarah Lehneis. A by election to fill the vacancy will be held if within 14 days (excluding Saturday or Sunday, Bank Holidays and any appointed days for thanksgiving or mourning) from the date below, ten electors for the Parish of Hamble le Rice give notice in writing claiming such an election to the Returning Officer.

Voting in person at polling stations has now changed, as you will need to bring an accepted form of photo ID.

If you have registered for the postal vote, this means that you can have your say at the elections on 2 May, even if you can’t get to your local polling station.

Eastleigh Borough Council's sport and talented athlete grant is now open!

The grant looks to help fund talented local athletes as well as new initiatives that will improve your organisation and have a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of club members, the local community, and the lives of people most in need.

Sports clubs, activity providers and individuals can apply for between £100 to £400.

The funding windows take place in spring and autumn, with the current spring 2024 applications closing Wednesday 22 May, 12 noon.
