Recent Issues on Hamble Lane – Letter from HPC to Hampshire Highways
We were frustrated to see the appalling traffic issues on Hamble Lane earlier this month, when the village was brought to a standstill due to emergency gas works carried out by SGN near the Hound roundabout.
While we understand that emergency works are sometimes unavoidable, the management of these
situations continues to be inadequate.
The Parish Council has written to Hampshire Highways on behalf of the community to express our dissatisfaction and has requested a meeting to discuss how we can better manage and minimise these disruptions in the future.
