Her Majesty the Queen, 1926 – 2022

It was with profound sadness that we have learnt of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. As the country’s longest-serving monarch she has created a stable backdrop during a period of immense change, demonstrating the very best qualities of dedication to public service, dignity, and strength. Her commitment to her family, her country and the commonwealth is without equal and for this she will remain in hearts and minds long after passing.

Hamble Parish Council extends its deepest sympathies to the Royal Family during this period of mourning.

A book of condolence has been opened and is available at the Memorial Hall today until 4pm and again next week from 10am – 4pm Monday to Friday, and 9am – midday Saturday.

Space has been set aside at the base of the flagpole at the Memorial Hall for floral tributes.

We will provide further updates via social media, this website, and noticeboards throughout the village when available.
