Hamble Parish Council Wins 2022 Community Engagement Award
We are delighted to announce that Hamble Parish Council has been awarded the 2022 ‘Excellence in Community Engagement’ award by the Hampshire Association Of Local Councils.
This award was in recognition of the communications work completed by the Council to date in relation to the Hamble Airfield application.
Hamble was also runner-up in the overall ‘Village of the Year’ award, with the Hamble Airfield community consultation project cited as an example of best practice for the other 246 parish and town councils in Hampshire.
Particular congratulations go to our Clerk Amanda Jobling, and to Councillors Michelle Nicholson and Sarah Lehneis, who have overseen the communications work relating to the Hamble Airfield application.
While objective recognition is of course welcomed and valued, we are very aware that the Hamble Airfield battle is not yet won. We will continue representing the wishes of the residents of Hamble to the very best of our abilities and resources in the coming months
